Our initial fundraising goal was $20,000 in order to cover the cost of start-up, training, and additional equipment. We've exceeded that goal which ensures both departments will be will be well equipped and that Project Lifesaver clients needing assistance can enroll!

  • As of the end of 2008, volunteers
    have raised $28,5588.03!

Anyone interested in supporting the future of the program and/or contributing by sponsoring a family should contact us.

Fundraising for this valuable program is being coordinated by a determined group of community volunteers. Volunteers from the community have contributed their own time and resources to this effort. There has also been the support of some local businesses in the fundraising effort as well. However, this opportunity would not be possible without the support of our Sheriffs! Both the Pierce and St. Croix Sheriff’s Departments have submitted letters of intent to Project Lifesaver International, therefore committing their departments to implementing the program once funding is secured.

“State of the art technology and specialized training will help us locate missing adults and children faster… which saves lives!” - Sheriff Nancy Hove, Pierce County, WI

“This will be a valuable tool in locating lost children (with disabilities) and vulnerable adults.”- Sheriff Dennis Hillstead, St. Croix County, WI

As members of Project Lifesaver International, our Sheriff's Departments will receive:

  • The basic equipment package required for training and implementation.
  • Training for law enforcement and other personnel designated by the Sheriff's Departments.
  • Instructor training in order for local law enforcement to continue to train additional personnel and to sustain the program.
  • Program materials necessary to enroll clients and manage the program.

Project Lifesaver International is a 501(c)3 Non-Profit Organization, so donations are tax deductible. Donations are being collected by volunteers, forwarded to Project Lifesaver, and reserved for implementing the program in Pierce and St. Croix Counties.

To make a donation, please contact one of our Volunteer Fundraising Coordinators.
